vegan mofo :: 4 recipes, illustrated

Soupe au Pistou from The Urban Vegan

This summer, Rebecca Green, an amazingly talented illustrator, asked if she could illustrate a few of my recipes from my blog and The Urban Vegan.

Quick Berry Jam from The Urban Vegan

Her work is gorgeous and shows so much of her personality. It's so much fun seeing your recipes translated to art. Click on the drawings to see them enlarged.

Easy Roasted Tomatoes from the blog

I hope you enjoy the drawings as much as I did. And I hope you like the recipes.
Shake-n-Go Chia Pudding from the blog
Which illustration is your favorite?

Man, these illustrations are gorgeous! It's really hard to pick a favorite but I would probably go with the chia pudding one since it's so whimsical! What a great idea though, I love these. :)

What fun to have your recipes illustrated! My favorite is the chia pudding, but they are all lovely.

These are pretty gorgeous and adorable. The Urban Vegan is a fantastic book, very unassuming, but the book has an air of elegance to it (alongside awesome recipes!) - I think photos would just not do.. illustrating is definitely a great complement to the recipes, though!
