my perfect sunday morning

Got up early-ish and ran 10 miles yesterday morning. The reward? On the way home, picked up a vegan blueberry-corn muffin at Whole Foods, then stopped at Starbucks for the Sunday NY Times.  Made some soy cappucino at home, showered, put on some bossa nova, iced my piriformus, and all was good with the world...

You have amazing willpower to go into a Starbucks and not buy coffee there. The aroma gets me every time.

Bianca: That's not willpower. I hate Starbucks coffee. LOL.

I'd like to mention that I love your blog and you've inspired me to start running again.

So thank you ;)

EVV: I wish I had run into you (yuk-yuk) at the Oddysey! I'm training for another half. No quite up for a marathon yet.

Erica: Yeah, piriformis is a pain in the @$$!

That IS the perfect Sunday morning! I always feel so smug after that long, early run. The rest of the day is mine and I've already accomplished so much!

It does look pretty perfect.

I also hate Starbucks. It always tastes like they've burned the coffee. And I hate the frou-frou size names...grande, tall - pul-eeze! It's small, medium & large. Get over yourself. pffft.
I wish I could still run. I used to, but bad back and bum knees make it a painful experience, so kudos to you! That muffin looks good!

If I can skip the 10 mile run, that does sound like a great Sunday!
